Anyone can clean a simple dusty filter. We specialize in the hard to clean filters. We clean all types of filters; any shape size or configuration. Our internal staff is made up of a Chemical Engineer, and an Industrial Engineer. No two orders are done in exactly the same method. We utilize an engineering approach to design “SOP”s for each and every order. We are the only company that utilizes all multiple filter cleaning methods, many times combining two or three methods to clean one filter. This allow Dust Filter Shop to outperform and increase lifespan and cycle times of the filter.

Dry Cleaning method
- Sonic Filter Cleaning: This is a common method of filter cleaning used mainly on a fine loose dust on filters. It uses sonic air waves to clean the filter.
- Jet Air Knife: The jet air knife method uses thin, wide “blades” of compressed air to remove the particulates from the filter. It can be effective in some smaller intake and compressor filters.
- * It is very easy to damage the media integrity and damage the filter pores using this method.
- Backflush Method: Another compressed air cleaning method, the backflush method uses compressed air to force the particulates out of the filter in the same direction they entered. Like other Dry methods, this filter cleaning technique will not remove heavy, sticky or animal based dusts and contaminates.
Wet Cleaning Methods:
- Wet Filter Cleaning: Utilizes soaps and solvents to clean the filter. This complex method requires an advanced knowledge of Chemistry; identifying soaps, solvents and filter construction to avoid damage to the filter. Our staff Chemical Engineer is responsible for developing the “SOP” for each batch of filters cleaned with this method.
